Wei Shizhong, was born in 1966, and graduated from Xi'an Jiao Tong University for Doctoral degree, now is a Professor (Class Two) and a doctoral supervisor. Besides, he is also a special allowance expert of the state council,a "Baiqianwan talents project national candidate, the national young expert with outstanding contributions," a team leader of development plan "Changjiang Scholars and innovative research team innovation (was selected to Ministry of education innovation team development plan" rolling support list in 2016), a cooperative innovation award winner of Chinese industry university research, a senior visiting scholar of University of Michigan, "Chutian scholar" in Hubei Province, a distinguished professor in University of Henan Province, a team leader of Henan province science and technology innovation, the talent of Henan province science and technology innovation, one of ten Henan science and technology innovative talent, one of ten outstanding youth independent innovative talent in Henan Province. On the other hand, professor Wei is the dean of new materials research institute of Henan university of science and technology, the director of engineering research center of tribology and material protection, the director of Henan engineering research center for wear of material, and the director of Henan engineering laboratory of elevated temperature refractory metal material.

①Find the nano reinforcing particles exist in the VC of the high vanadium alloy.Find the interface relationship between VC and austenite matrix.Make the VC of different forms changed into spherical and distributed uniformly via modification treatment. Develop a new type of high vanadium wear-resistant alloy.
② Explore the the morphology and size control of the hard phase of the wear resistant layer for self-casting infiltration surface composite technology. Research the interface metallurgical bonding and stress balance between the two sides of the interface. Produce self melting and casting composite guide plate and conical lining plate.
③Research the manufacture process of heavy equipment large castings and forgings Develop the technics of casting and forging. Create the world-leading large castings and forgings.
④Achieve the tungsten and molybdenum base new high temperature resistant ceramic alloy by dispersing ceramic oxide on matrix via liquid-liquid doping.
